Apr 8 Model Monday (Yes, I know it's Tuesday!)

Finding myself newly unemployed from my day job, it didn't take long to fill my days. I hadn't been to a figure drawing session for years, and those drawing muscles were getting stiff. Okay, they were suffering from attrify. So I signed back up with the local group and I hope to post the results here on Mondays, or Tuesdays the latest. Here are the best of my efforts from the last session.

This first one was a ten minute sketch. I guess I wasn't as rusty as I thought. Colored pencil.

This next one was 20 minutes, which just goes to show that extra time does not equate to better drawing. But I will say it was not the model's fault. She was excellent. Ball-point pen.
