2013 Lakes Region Splash-In

2013 Lakes Region Splash-In

Announcing the 2013 Lakes Region Splash-In August 9-11, 2013 in the beautiful Lakes Region of New Hampshire

Ahoy all Amphibious Car Owners!

Join us for a fun 3 days. Current plans are to cruise four lakes on Friday, four more lakes on Saturday, and spend Sunday at a local sandbar schmoozing and swimming with local boaters. Other fun activities for meals and evenings are being explored.

Lakes we may cruise:

Winnisquam Opechee Paugus Bay Winnipesaukee Wicwas Waukewan Winona Big Squam Little Squam

Note: New Hampshire's lakes are still fairly pristine. If you would kindly leave any milfoil or other nasty bottom-feeding lake weed at home, we'd appreciate it. No, for real. Give your vehicles a good scrub if you come from an area that is already infested with these parasites. Thank you!

Lodging

There are an abundance or hotels and motels in the area. Feel free to choose one that meets your taste and budget. Here are two that you may want to consider:

The Landmark Inn Located in downtown Laconia and near boat ramps to two different lakes we'll be going into.

The Shalimar in Winnisquam Located near the highway, they also have a BOAT RAMP across the street onto Lake Winnisquam.

Tower Hill Cottages and RV Park - Update! New Lodging Info Located on Route 3 in the heart of Weirs Beach, this location is smack dab in the middle of all the lakes we'll be visiting.

Unfortunately the area is a summer destination and lodging can be expensive. There are many nicer hotels with higher prices that are easy to find online. Just search for Lakes Region Hotels.

There is no charge to attend other than to pay for your own meals. So clean out your bilge, and raise your pole lamps, and join us for fun in the sun.

Please let us know if you're coming. Send your name, how many in your group, contact info, and what days you plan on attending. This will help us plan meal options. Oh, and if it rains? You may want to make sure canvas top doesn't leak! :)

Looking forward to seeing everyone!
